INVESTIGATIONAL SITE SURVEY

An eClinical Forum Initiative to Identify Site Needs Associated with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) Trials

This survey is being conducted by the eClinical Forum, a not-for-profit consortium of pharmaceutical and allied industries working to improve the use of technology in clinical research. One of the objectives of the eClinical Forum is to increase the involvement of investigational site staff in defining current and future requirements of technology systems used in clinical research.

Results will be compared to similar information collected in 2001 and will be available for download from the eClinical Forum website in early 2010.

Responses will be handled confidentially and only summary information will ever be printed. The intention is to publish the results as presentations at industry symposia and as a paper in a peer-reviewed pharmaceutical journal.

THE SURVEY IS NOW CLOSED

The 787 complete responses we received are currently being analysed. Results will be available for download in early 2010.

The survey is now closed.

Information gathered will help us to better understand the experience and needs of site staff with respect to Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and other clinical trial systems. The information collected will be used to improve the way clinical trial systems are provided and used.
